If you have ever longed for the fascination of oriental civilization and nature, Khaolak Laguna is located on Phang-Nga, Thailand where the various Eastern arts, the nature of the Andaman sea and the greenery of the Khaolak-Lamru National Park combine..
The objective of this project was to create a strong concept and consistent branding for a hospitality concept that offers the contemporary experience of luxury and exhibits a direct connection with the surrounding nature. In brand attitude, the hotel is built according to oriental and luxurious architecture with the scale of high-class rooms, restaurant, spa, pool.. the brand identity image is also particularly focused. In the solution, we have focused on its name and meaning, trying to find something abstract & visualize it in a simple graphic form.
Thai textiles began as a way of life and over time, they have become arts. Handwoven and hand-dyed, these textiles require a high level of skills and painstaking attention to detail. Through a designer's unique visions and skills, local weaving techniques and handicrafts are transformed into a brand identity that reflects both a sense of universal elegance and contemporary design.
logo concepts :
The logo mark is formed by using a simple diamond-shaped icon of Thai textiles. Since the resort pretends to merge with oriental, the imagery reflects this concept in such a way that the organic forms are integrated into the geometry achieving balance.
